Misfits

The first two to three seasons are good, but the show gets really bad after that.

the first 2 seasons are great, and then rudy arrives, a brilliant, horrifying character and a harbinger of the show's descent into charmless sociopathy. is it worse from that point? sure, but it's transitioned into something arguably more weird/interesting, while still witty and well plotted. you can't imagine even the first season being made and aired today, but it's child's play compared to the places it goes later, for good or ill. i haven't experienced anything quite like it.

If you were ever wondering what could X-men be if they weren't utter garbage, look no further than Misfits. First two seasons, though. And don't expect anything to actually happen. And that band that sounds so good on opening credits doesn't sound so good on its own. And seriously if you never tripled, well, try it and let me know how that went.

Loved the first two seasons for the cool quirky characters, then it was completely different and not worth watching.

First season was good, the rest, not so much

Some fun ideas and solid actors, but it's languidly paced and honestly not that much happens. I started watching episodes slower and slower and slower before trailing off entirely in season 3.

Score referring only to the first two seasons, which are brilliant, smart but extremely transgressive humor. The show goes completely to shit afterwards, so I tell everyone to pretend it was canceled, which isn’t hard as season 2 ends has an ending that might as well be the conclusion. Avoid everything afterwards, seriously.

The early seasons of this show are great, but it starts to hemorrhage characters and becomes total garbage.

One of the best series out there. It's snotty, unconventional, rude and politically incorrect and I absolutely love it. Although in my personal opinion it could've ended after season 3.

It gradually gets worse, but I really loved the first season. It's been years since I've seen the show, but I remember it fondly. Well, the more I think about it, the more bad plot choices I remember, but I will still rate it highly due to the brilliant idea, rowdy characters and just the pure British awesomeness of the first season.
