Well, I couldn't bring myself to watch the final season, not after the episode where they grieve over Phil Harman's death, but the first four years are simply the pinnacle of live-action television comedy. Dave Foley was about the most adorable man who ever lived back in the 90's, Jimmy James is one of the greatest characters ever created, and Phil Hartman, well... I'm getting choked up just thinking about it.

Really, really good cast. It was a nice mix of traditional workplace sit-com, but with some really bizarre story lines. Phil Hartman was a goddamn treasure, too.

One of the last great live-action sitcoms. Second only to Seinfeld. Clever writing and characters. Jimmy James and Bill McNeal are amongst the best television characters ever.

I loved this show back in the day. It just has a slightly darker, more sardonic edge to it than other sitcoms of its day, and a really great cast (Phil Hartman, Stephen Root, Dave Foley before he puffed up). And with less than 100 episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome like a lot of older multi-cam sitcoms. It's aged more than, say, Seinfeld. But I still like it. Catchy title theme!

Imagine time travelling to the late 90's and making people guess which cast member would have a cult like media empire and be worth upwards of $250 million in the 2020's. Most people would have said Phil Hartman, and I want to live in that alternate universe.

Not great but the cast was talented enough and just weird enough to set it slightly apart in the deluge of what is sitcom TV.
