Roseanne

Bye bye Roseanne. Don't let the door hit you on your right-wing ass on the way out.

A very solid revival despite political hooplah that surrounds it because people can't let a sitcom be a sitcom. Goodman and Metcalf still shine, even if Roseanne has lost a step. The kids still do a pretty good job.

I think the show was entertaining as a reboot, and continues to be so as The Conners. I don't exactly mind Roseanne leaving, as I was a little conflicting about watching this in the first place due to her history. Despite the controversy, I still enjoyed it.

Of the many TV revivals we've had in the last half-decade or so this may be the one that is both reaching back the furthest into TV history while looking and sounding and feeling nearly identical to how it did back in the day. Hell, twenty years later and there isn't a single person on the show who looks worse than they did in the 90s - Roseanne Barr and John Goodman if anything look healthier! As for the show itself, I had a chuckle or two. Probably won't keep watching.

Now called the Connors because Roseanne made a comment on Obama looking like an ape. She shouldn't have said anything because this was the ex president she was talking about. Of Course the corporate ABC has to be making a huge deal out of this. So they got rid of her. Which I guess it's good. This show flat out sucks.
