There is a sense, watching Sean Combs: The Reckoning, that history is no longer being written but compiled. This four-part series does not so much investigate as assemble: testimonies, court records, archival footage and recollections are stacked methodically, until the cumulative weight becomes difficult to ignore. The result is a documentary that is undeniably compelling, often disturbing, and occasionally exhausting. Its subject, Sean Combs,... - Full Review

Typical factory-farmed Netflix docu-series that's full of blatant filler to stretch the run time into multiple episodes complete with manufactured cliffhangers that are extremely disrespectful to the victims

Sean Combs changed the hip hop from rap and thug gangsta rap into a mega-commercial commodity. He made himself into a kingmaker / King, and therefore thought he was above any human behaviour. This series documents a pattern of behaviour from the early 1990's right up to his judgement of a abuser and beater, a rapist and a POS. It also tells the story of a culture what allowed him to endure eventhough he had DOZENS of lawsuits that put him right in the middle of shootings, abuse and rape. - Full Review

Confirms all my long-held suspicions that Puff Daddy is a desperate faker but bar making him look like a bit of a dick, if anything this raises questions about his conviction. Throws in every complaint he’s ever faced, without providing any solid supporting evidence for anything; his accusers have all been wronged or owed money by him too, which makes their allegations more than a little suspicious. Overlong, with those ‘exclusive’ pre-trial tapes adding nothing interesting whatsoever.

Is Sean Combs: The Reckoning a good documentary? No, it is not. Does it do justice for his victims? No, it doesn't do that either. Is it entertaining? Meh, somewhat. Not very entertaining but mildly so. Did I somehow love it? Yes, yes I did. 50 dug up every single beef and nothing was cut. There is something I appreciate about the level of pettiness about relitigating everything from Tupac to babyoil-gate. Looking forward to the followup: Diddy Do It (much better title).
