Mary Sue-Hulk. Clearly not made for fans of the comic, but for the writers themselves. They are living vicariously through She-Hulk. This is the world they want and the role they want in it.

Akin to watching a Star Wars sequel trilogy where in addition to being instantly perfect and brilliant at everything with next to no training Rey ALSO constantly lectures other characters / the audience about how much harder it is to be a FEMALE Jedi. Final fight scene of the pilot is 90s WB channel-tier superhero action. Bonus point because She-Hulk's visual design is actually pretty good. A million foot close-ups. Somewhere in LA Quentin Tarantino just went through a whole box of Kleenex.

A profound exploration of the narcissistic victimhood complex of professional white women, cleverly disguised as a subpar superhero story. I'm rating this as if it were the latter, as not to give the game away.

Ignore the man babies crying about women power or whatever the fuck they need to make their oh-so-hard lives better. This isn't some overly woke formula pushed down your throat. It's just mediocre so far. Acting is fine, CGI middle to good. Where this fails is the writing. I don't care about anything. There are some clever fourth wall breaks but some seem inserted because they haven't done one in awhile. I will watch a few more but if it stays this quality I will drop it.

Is your show mediocre and generic? No problem, all you got to do is acknowledge it at the end, pat yourself on the back, and call it a day.

Suffers from "female"-ness, where a critical part of the character and dialogue is that she is female (and thusly a victim of the world??). Wow. User Ytadel describes this issue more eloquently. VFX look like a 13-y/o and their younger sibling provided them. 1 point for Mark Ruffalo and acknowledging the Hulk movie with Tim Roth.

I don't care about Jen or her friends or her struggles. The writing from episode to episode is neither funny nor engaging with the fourth wall breaking feeling mostly forced. 95% of the male characters are either pigs, cowards or idiots and the only one for a while that isn't is the Hulk and Jen just treats him terribly and tells him how hard it is being a woman.Daredevil was pretty awesome though and the fourth wall breaking of the final episode was really fun.

As a woman, I’m deeply saddened this ”female empowering” series was so hateful, anti-human and especially anti-men. Nearly all characters were reduced to obnoxious morons (save Bruce and Matt). I think Maslany was charming and had a great comedic sense. It’s a shame the writers did her so dirty and made her an egotistic woman-baby. The last episode had the idea for a groundbreaking TV moment but it fell short when the buildup was lackluster and there was no-one to root for.

I didn't actually finish the series, that's how bad it was. The only Marvel property I didn't finish watching. I would have enjoyed the 4th wall breaking comedy aspects if the feminism wasn't shoved down our throats so hard. I get it - Marvel was about white dudes saving the world, so now they have to rewrite it all so minorities and chicks take over. Fine. Let the chicks watch this shit, then. I will say that the episode with Daredevil was pretty good. And Tim Roth is always a joy.

I didn't watch the show because I saw a clip of SheHulk scolding Banner for not realizing how tough she allegedly has it. Do the Wokesters who write this crap really believe being a female attorney in NYC in 2022 is a tough life? That the male elites who went to the same Woke schools they did are clueless jerks? & here's an actual truth from a NY minority the Woke don't dare point out: catcalling in NYC is disproportionately done by minorities. Even catcalling videos on youtube show this.

Wow, this was awful; I don't agree with the incels hating on it for being too much for their fragile egos, but damn is it bad.

Tired of this "bash men to empower women" thing. It wasn't needed. But when it's poking fun at Marvel or superheroes existing in the real world (from a legal perspective), it's a fun show. I like Maslany a lot as Jen. I laughed at this. I like the sitcom nature of it for a change, not that I want this for everything. I liked the finale as a whole. Loved Daredevil. Some of the creative choices are weird, Intelligencia was done dirty, and the CGI doesn't do the characters justice sometimes.

Excellent!! The best Marvel series by far. Better than Wandavision, A of Shield, The Falcon, Hawkeye combined. Funny, different, brilliant writing and acting. The only critique is the 4th wall mugging which would be better if left out. Also does not try to sell the Woke nonsense of Captain Marvel.. real women with real reactions to issues, even superhero ones. Other than that, this is the first Marvel series where I can't wait for the next episode!

After the first episodes I thought this could be my favourite MCU series, but now I don't know what it really wants to be, a comedy, superhero action or a lawyer series? It certainly doesn't feel like any of them.

Maybe it's seeing She-Hulk in a kind of normal work setting, but I feel the CGI is sometimes completely off. Other than that, these small and mostly well written episodes are, so far, easy enough to watch

I'm actually a big fan of the She-Hulk comics and this show does not get what made those comics work. To its credit, the show has some solid chops when it's tackling Jen's self-identity which is elevated by the therapy episode and the side characters can be amusing. Where this fails me is that they have no idea how to properly utilise the 4th wall and they frequently use a very moronic interpretation of "internet trolls" which combined make one of the worst endings in MCU history.

Hoo boy, here goes. For such a good cast, the writing is just mediocre. It can never pick what it wants to be so it just veers all over the place. There are two, maybe three ideas for a show but it never commits. Down the lens meta commentary can't cover up the flaws. It's a shame, I'm fine with female super-heroes, just not like this. The first of the Marvel short series that I'm not bothered about a sequel.

Not nearly as bad as the internet made it out to be, but still one of the weakest MCU offerings so far. I didn’t care for the first episode, but the few after it, and the last two are pretty good. I feel as though it would’ve been better as a full sitcom, rather than aiming for action and drama alongside the comedy. Needs more focus on strengthening its supporting cast. Fourth wall breaks in finale were fun, would’ve liked more off the wall stuff like that.

Wow. The overall tenor of this review section makes it quite obvious a lot of users are zeroing in on some ... let's call them personal issues here. I think the sociopolitical themes brought up in this series actually are handled quite well. And Tatiana Maslany is great in the lead. Where the show falters somewhat is in its uneven tonal shifts and its lack of a proper throughline. There were some really clever beats in there, structurally it was just a bit too jumbled. Humor's a bit hit or miss.

this one actually felt like it shoulda been 6 eps, but they thought they were doing 9 right lol, but the extra eps actually made me end up liking her a lot more. maybe the first half the character had a lot more meh. her being meta was sometimes meh sometimes nice but the final payoff was great, and the general meta-based writing could go a lot harder. and the perspective could be done more artfully and less like targeting a demo. hulk. abom, some weird some good. whole show often weird lol

This is just kind of a goofy show, which isn't really what I expected. I didn't know that She-Hulk was actually the first Marvel character to break the 4th wall and that's why this happens so much in the show. Although it wasn't the goofiness that really bothered me here. It's that the story just didn't really go much of anywhere. Add in some very unlikable characters like Luke, Leapfrog, and a number of others and it wasn't the most fulfilling, but was still a fun ride.

I think this show is better than the reputation it gets. I enjoyed the fourth wall breaking, and thought the finale made a hilarious use of that. I think the visuals stand up well against the movie hulk, and I think the comedy was mostly pretty decent. Tatiana Maslany is brilliant as ever. I do think it was a misstep to advertise Daredevil being a part of this. It should have been a surprise cameo. I'm not a big fan of the new suit for him though.

It's entertaining but not exceptional. I don't agree with the complaints about the visual effects, I thought it looked fine. Subtracted a couple points for including "Big Energy" in the last episode which seemed really tone deaf with the themes of the series (because of the credits, not the song itself).

Another show that isn't as bad as advertised but ... still bad. I think there's plenty of appetite and ability for comedy in the Marvel universe and I think it sometimes works here. But not often. And sometimes it is cringeworthy. Worse, it seems like this is an insecure attempt with so many special guest stars. I think I would've enjoyed a comical, client-of-the-episode style, smaller show. Shout out to an absolutely terrible ending episode.
