I watched this for a few seasons before I got bored. I can't believe it's still fucking going 20 years later.

I genuinely love this show, but I understand why some people just don't care for/about it. Survivor is its own kind of show. (And, it being a reality TV competition, there are also necessarily a good number of boring ass seasons.)

The concept could be all right if it didn't feel like people were meddling in whatever could pass for reality in a show like this. Reality show ceased to have any value when blatantly manipulated past its premise.

When the show first aired, it was really revolutionary. It was completely enjoyable, even though they stretched out the content sooooo much. I stopped watching after the first couple seasons, but it will always be memorable, even though its legacy is helping launch the horrible reality tv pandemic that we'll be stuck with forever.

It was pretty funny when that guy was talking to his "Blackberry".

The real reason reality TV accosted us for so many years. This should be a battle to the death, then I would watch it.
