The Anti-Jimmy Fallon. Much needed in these dark times.

Pulls apart the components that make up a talk show from the front titles down to the music act and reconstructs them into a subsonic parody of themselves. This is probably the end of the road for talk show meta-comedy as TEAS rivals a level 4 psychedelic experience. Any more genre-anarchy and the form wouldn't be identifiable, just a series of kaleidoscopic infrared images falling through the visible cutoff for light itself. Bird up.

Best show ever, 10 minutes long, inspired in tom green show and space ghost coast to coast....

If Tim and Eric jizzed all over Tom Green you would get this show. Full of awkwardness and ridiculousness but the whole thing stinks of trying so god damned hard that its near unwatchable at times.

Eric Andre's deliberate attempts to deconstruct and lampoon everything about the idea of late night talk shows and talk show hosts will be off putting to some but he is undoubtedly funny and carries the lesser bits with enough confidence to make them worthwhile.

Binging this (again) recently makes me realised how desensitised one can get to this constant anarchy. But across all the seasons, it really pops a lot of the time with some roaringly hilarious moments whether in interviews or on the streets (which I love being a spectator to, but would hate being there in the middle of it). There's also a clear sense of joy in the series, though also a higher sense of pain, both adding to the hilarity.

Need to watch more of it to rate it properly.

He crossed the line into a new level of sickness.

Seems like it got a little repetitive and mean-spirited with its comeback, but this is really a classic of our time I think.
