2 hours of exhilarating "Old Man Wick" action, followed by 5 hours of endless jibber-jabber, broken up by flashbacks of jibber-jabber from decades ago. And finishes with THE WORST season finale in television history. We all laughed out loud and scrambled to unrecord the series as quickly as possible.

This is a soap opera for teenage boys. The two Jewish blokes who wrote this….well…they write terribly. The only redeeming factor is Lithgow. And Bridges to a degree. Not his finest hour. And 94% on Rotten Tomatoes???? Give me a break! Hollywood has fallen so far.

Edited review to knock it way down. I really enjoyed this at the start. The way the first season spun out of control and failed to resolve now looks even worse after season two followed it down the same path. Keeps trying to pull off very similar tricks with seriously diminishing returns.

Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow as the "bad dads" whose history catches up with them is good television. Hell those two are charismatic as hell. The ending is anticlimactic and if they thought that I'm gonna watch the second season of grumpy old men in cars , then you must be joking.

It's good, but the quality goes a bit down towards the end.

Started off promising, but lost itself in absolutely horrible tropy soapy writing and it has nothing to say or to convey. It's a flat out disaster, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

So far (5 episodes) so good. It has tight , tense action, interesting characters, some crazy plot twists. I don't know if it can hold up, but I am having fun so far.

There are a lot of solid TV series came out in 2022. For example Pachinko, The Staircase, We Own This City, The Dropout etc.. The Old Man is definitely one of them and first two episode was entertaining and high tense. Thanks to brilliant performance by Jeff Bridges, which he is really great by the ways, the show never disappoints you and seems like this trend will continue. Supporting cast are also very good. It’s very good to see Amy Brenneman and Alia Shawkat. You were a kid, Shawkat! Feels🥺
