Walton Goggins is hilarious.

Best thing Jody Hill has done since Observe and Report; perhaps even better than that. Walton Goggins' degree of hilarity he brings to every scene cannot be overstated. Edit: found the last two episodes of s1 to be a HUGE step in the wrong direction. But I am intrigued to see what happens with the new hierarchy in s2.

Enjoying this so far. Dark and funny. A real undercurrent of menace running through it.

Impressively dark and funny. Goggins and McBride play off each other in the best way.

More of the same from Danny McBride and Jody Hill. It's Eastbound and Down with a different setting and surrounding cast and a SLIGHTLY toned down McBride. Still, the off-putting, mean-spirited childlike nature of all the protagonists is jarring enough to still be novel and entertaining a lot of the time.

I was doubtful about this show. Danny McBride playing another obnoxious malcontent? There are genuinely hilarious moments peppered throughout the episodes that keep me tuned in to see what kind of lunacy will ensue.

Pretty slow start, but the series continued to improve

Walton Goggins is great as usual and I like the soundtrack a lot, but the drama is just okay and it could be a whole lot funnier than it is. Enjoyed season 2 more than the first, the drama improved though the mystery of who the shooter was is so obvious that its actually surprising when they try to play the reveal off as a surprise.

Just a couple of guys cursing at each other about what should be done to the other's butthole. Yippee.

This show starts out with a funny premise and McBride and Goggins have some good lines with eccentric characters to work with. The show however becomes stale very quickly and the plotline turns into trash in a flash. What was funny for a couple of episodes becomes predictable and annoying. I was very relieved when it arrived at a nonsensical conclusion.

Vice Principals last for just 2 seasons planned from the beginning, which helps the show maintain a focused plot and not outstay its welcome. The characters can be quite grating, but are portrayed well by the cast., The are plenty of darkly funny moments, and plenty of cringeworthy ones as well. This series won't be to a lot of peoples' tastes, but it remains a solid show nonetheless.

The pathetic cast is a tipoff to how bad this could be. Danny McBride stunk it up almost as much as Walter Goggins. It is worthless, pointless and worst of all entirely unfunny. I was a bit sad to see Busy Philipps waste her time in this trainwreck.

Don't be scared by the fact that it ended after 2 seasons, there's closure and honestly 2 seasons was just the right amount of content. Fun show, a wild ride at times, the characters are all a bit too obnoxious at times - on purpose - but it sadly leads to a few moments where you can't cheer for anyone. Keep watching though, it's worth it, if your expectations aren't impossibly high you'll have a good time.

Frequently amusing but rarely laugh out loud funny. First half of season 1 is pretty bad - too mean spirited and almost stopped watching. But it gets better. Later half of the series is more interesting and gives you characters to root for. Even if it's not great as a comedy, it's a decent show in the end.
