Amazing movie, but in my personal opinion, the curse is weak, the way she acts, that's not someone you love the most all over other things, they should have wrote the wish better

Instead of drums he could've been learning to bang pans together for as subtle as this script is.

This movie is a vibe. "...Maude's been gardening. That's kind of over now. I've been substituting at the middle school. I shaved my beard."

An emotional rollercoaster throughout. Totally knackered once it was over and needed a strong drink! Terrific effects but so so draining.

This is a movie about a delusional, barefoot perv in swim trunks who NEEDS to swim in a lot of pools. And it takes him a really long time to do so. The end.

Solid start to the series. Has some great ideas and striking visuals (the alien's look is hypnotic), though the ending borrows quite a bit from The Day the Earth Stood Still. But still, really good.

Remember the time we went to that techno club in East Germany and you put Drano in my Kahlua & milk? Asshole.

yikes, we really are starved for black genre cinema huh? FROM DUSK TILL DAWN is an on-point comp for the second half of this, unfortunately.

Quirky, fun and interesting characters. I would have a great time hanging out with them--I didn't want the movie to end.

Not particularly profound, but very well made for a light romance, an authentic peek into Scottish island culture, and a good job from Wendy Hiller. Certainly worthy of Powell and Pressburger.
