Amanda Pierce is from Iowa and works as a restorer of Renascence paints of the New York Metropolitan Museum. She has just finished another frustrating relationship, when she found her boy-friend with a model on her bed. She decides to move and share a flat with four stupid but nice super-models. She meets Jim Winston, who lives in front of her window. She falls in love with him. One day, she sees Jim killing a woman - Megan O'Brien - through her window and Amanda and her four roommates decide to investigate what really happened. (imdb)

Old-hat romantic comedy, with a splash of "gross-out humor" for modernity. It lives or dies on the personal appeal of its stars, a blatant Julia Roberts impersonator (Potter) and a cut-rate Keanu Reeves (Prinze). In other words, it dies a long, lingering, excruciating death. Waters, who strove so hard to be offbeat in The House of Yes, strives here just to blend in with the brass marching band.

Stupid but watchable comedy. A couple of laughs, and Monica Potter is a charmer. A shame that she hasn't gotten more of a career

Sigh. Too bad this isn't about four wacky models who walk off with the show & the funniest scenes instead focusing on some lackluster romance between a couple dullards set inside a pseudo-clever ripped off plot from a Hitchcock movie. Some really bad gags here that sometimes succeed by being so obvious & overdone.

After some time of watching this movie, you wish that this is what it looks like. But then when i remembered where i last saw Freddie Prinze, this is exactly what you could expect. If you like to go to sleep, listening one and same lullaby on every night in last 20 years, then you might like this movie.
