Cringing at the thought of spending 200 for a ticket to see this and sitting next to some fucking mongoloid saying every word before the Pythons do.

A fun celebration of the Pythons handled with love and care, even the song and dance numbers had their place.

if you like huge dick shaped cannons shooting fake sperm all over crowds of ecstatic singing people of all ages this might be the thing for you. I know I loved it

It was nice to see Python back together. There's not quite the same gusto as the old days, and there's too many choreographed dance numbers and little new material. But as a farewell gig, this was good to see.

Monty Python stopped performing before I was born, so I jumped at the chance to see this as I knew it was going to be my last (and only) chance. I knew exactly what to expect - 5 old men doing sketches and songs I already knew by heart. But I didn't mind. I was just glad to see them again. The only thing that put me off was how goddamn long the choreographed song and dance numbers were. Go away, I'm not interested in you.

Not a huge amount of new material (then again, there wasn't at Hollywood Bowl either, and nobody ever seems to complain about that). But some nice takes on old favourites and Palin and Cleese trying to make each other laugh will never not be funny. And the Blackmail sketch hasn't exactly become LESS relevant. Also, Stephen Fucking Hawking. Also, Carol Cleveland still has the best legs in showbiz. GRAHAM CHAPMAN 1941-1989 MONTY PYTHON 1969-2014 PISS OFF A good send-off.
