It contains a fine performance by Cillian Murphy and it's intriguing enough to continue to make you wanting to see what will happen next. The supporting cast doesn't get enough time to make an impact, the plot meanders a lot, using filler so that the film will play for 90 minutes, and it's a bit tough to believe that nobody would question why John and his "wife" look so similar. But it's an interesting movie that will be worth your time, for the most part, that is.

Surreal and disturbing, with a fantastic performance by Cillian Murphy. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot to this movie outside of that. The story is pretty meh, and there are a lot of elements that could have used more focus.

Insane cross-dressing man is more comfortable living his life as a woman. There, now you don't have to watch this shit.

It's not a must see, but it has some good performances and an interesting enough story, though it should have went into maybe a little more detail to flesh out the characters a bit more. But I'm sure some people will appreciate it more for the reason I'm knockin' it down a few points.

It’s got a good performance from Cillian Murphy and an intriguing premise, although it does very little of interest with said premise. It’s engaging enough to be watchable, but had a lot of unused potential.

Mrs. Doubtfire--the searing drama! There are certainly worse movie premises around, but it is absolutely impossible to believe that no one in that town--least of all Susan Sarandon--could guess that Emma is a dude, a dude that looks an awful lot like her "husband". Cillian Murphy actually does an excellent job, under the circumstances.

Feeling sort of bad for Cillian Murphy. He pulled off a great role and was absolutely awesome in this movie. But any press etc that I saw for this movie was for Ellen Page who was dull and boring in the film. Sort of feels like Cillian Murphy was robbed.

Very Good. Cillian Murphy gives a surreal award worthy performance in this chilling understated thriller. It takes some time to draw you in but once it does, it will keep you transfixed till the very eloquent end. Recommended.

I was taken out of it a bit by the abrupt, downer ending, but the bulk of the film is quite solid. Murphy is great in both roles.

The awkward atmosphere made it hard to get through. I wasn't impressed by this movie at all. Page looks cute though, but when doesn't she?

A great performance by Cillian Murphy in the dual role of Emma\John Skillipa is the only really good bit in this film.The acting by the rest of the cast and the story is weak and the ending was abrupt and offered no real since of conclusion.

A amazingly stupid story depicting a man suffering from multiple personality disorder. The movie is a long boring build up to nothing much, then topped off with a lack luster ending. Ellen page was good with the extremely poor material. One of my least favorite roles I've seen Cillian Murphy in. A great cast with a poor story to spread among them. Too bad, this just seems like such a waste of talent, time and money. Something great could have been made, but this certainly is not it.

I feel the movie was cut too short for its potential. I think it's a unique story where things could've heated up much more and been revealed much more to make it more interesting.
