Sex and Lucia

Besides the beautiful Paz Vega, Elena Anaya and the mediocre first 30minutes this film has absolutely nothing to offer. Random sex-scenes without contributing to the absolute chaos of a story, and the questionable choice of overexposure in the island-scenes are some of the downsides of this movie. ... I'm not impressed.

I liked it but it left me a little bit with the 'Mulholland Drive'-feeling. I don't like that. And what about Carlos???

Erotic AND depressing. Love it.

This director obviously likes to tell stories out of order, but for me the jumping around in time added nothing. I was expecting the movie to be more about Lucia, some sort of awakening or adventure for her, but in the end, it was really all about the boyfriend and his secrets and problems.

A good drama, with the usual nudity that you get from Southern European movies, this even pushes the limits a bit.

Reminded me of Izgnanie, in how the majority of the plot is built around one grossly miscalculated assumption. Really frustrating, as if Medem had a clear aesthetic vision in mind with no concept of narrative clarity, or meaningful character development for that matter. Buy hey, tits.

I liked a lot the complex stroy that combines past, present and fiction. The shooting was also beautiful. The flick itself is well done, but in the end the story was too much turned inside: everything is connected to everything. In the end you were left on emptyness: is that all what it was all about? Too much of mediocre choises in the end. Good film to see with your (intime) girlfriend though.

I liked it because it was weird and erotic. After seeing multiple movies that skip around in time and don't really reconcile with nothing more than than the apparent intent to confuse, the idea seems somewhat unoriginal at this point. But.... weird, erotic, and therefore good.

Well, it's truth in advertising, I'll say that much for it. Lots of great-looking Spanish women, and most of them get naked, and this is well-photographed enough on hi-def video that it looks an awful lot like film. Not much else here, however

It well shot and well acted, but lacks any emotional weight or meaning. Overall certainly watchable, but the vaguely irritating characters detract seriously from the movies overall likability.
