I think Cuba Gooding Jr. in the movie is just playing himself after he's looked over what his career has become.

cuba gooding jr.? did he see liam neeson in 96hours/taken and thought he can do that too but failed reallllly hard ?

Not that great but I tolerate Cuba Gooding extremely well.

Make no mistake, this is shit, but as a trashy, overcooked TVM spin on STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, it’s a surprising amount of fun, especially given its pretensions towards being a Bond film, based on the hilariously derivative opening titles! Gooding is quite good as the deranged villain, and Hauser fine as the sweaty patsy; LaPaglia also shows a certain flair as the dogged detective. With expectations appropriately set, it’s worth a watch.

There are some very unexpected developments in this movie: Cuba plays a bad ass really well, Hauser plays a good guy pretty well, and the writers figured out that they can't write worth a crap.

It seems like a TV movie. In a bad way, thank God LaPlaglia appears on it.

I guess the writer thinks cop are the dumbest people ever.
