Consistent pacing that does not succumb to the lulls in comedic delivery in favor of trite or contrived emotive storytelling. The dramatic elements were tastefully done, timely, and certain parts definitely hit home on a personal level. Paul Rudd was effortlessly fantastic and the supporting characters all contributed to both the story and humor.

Aesthetically speaking, this film is marvelous and the rounded out cast is top notch. However, the story and delivery comes across as slightly sterile and clinical which removes the viewer from having an empathy or personal draw to any of the characters...(Matt Damon excluded). As a truly worldview vision of humanity it seems counterproductive if that was the tonal intent.

An otherwise decent first chapter is ruined by a panic, underplayed finale and truly the worst ending to any film all year. That was an automatic 25 point deduction (which is generous at that).
