Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
While this film is the weakest of the trilogy, it still stands the test of time as an enjoyable, familiar adventure flick with all the Saturday Morning Serial flavor that one comes to enjoy from the Indy series. It's also full to the brim with quotes.

Munich (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
A thought-provoking if not overlong representation of the Middle East conflict that raises questions of the morality of revenge and killing another human being in general.

Corpse Bride (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
All right, but it really ends up being a lesser Nightmare Before Christmas with worse music and a negligable plot.

Wedding Crashers (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
I really did enjoy this film, but I did have a problem with the fact that it could have been something much better. In my opinion, the film loses points for dragging on too long and the unnecessary and only occasionally funny cameo of Will Ferrel, smack-dab in the middle of that 2004-2005 season where he was played out way too much.

28 Days Later (2002) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
A great example of modern horror and an excellent take on the entire undead genre. It's also responsible for reviving the somewhat dormant genre, and giving us the excellent Shaun of the Dead and the less-so-but-still-necessary Land of the Dead. Good show.

X-Men (2000) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
An action-soaked parable of American intolerance and the struggle of those persecuted against. Nice special effects make it a fun little diversion, and Ian McKellen delivers once again.

Sleepy Hollow (1999) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
The Tim Burtoniest film in existence, this odd romance/thriller shows both the strengths and weaknesses of Burton's odd obsession with the Gothic period, but often the weaknesses outway the strengths.

Shark Tale (2004) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
I suppose Shark Tale gets points for trying, but really. It's just sort of a terrible film. Some high class voice acting is wasted on a script fit for a 6 minute short and filled with passable subtle environment jokes. Eeeh.
