Bio: The most pointless 20 year old you'll ever want to meet. Baltimore, MD- born and raised (except for that stint in Miami...). HoCo highschooling to Towson Universty...because i'm lazy. And they love me.

I'll be important someday, but for now...I'm just gonna watch movies and go to sleep. I'm good at that. Real good, in fact. And If you want to know more, you can ask.

Superman Returns (2006) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Decent movie. Routh was perfect, especially the Clark Kent bits. What a dork! The one aspect of the film with wich I found absolutely no problem was Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor. Edgy and psychotic, but balanced in some part by his somewhat bumbling henchman and less than brilliant girlfriend, Kitty (played with comic flair by Parker Posey).Spacey is the ULTIMATE Luthor. See Superman Returns if only to be wittness to the fact that the man of steel is BACK (and it can only get better).

Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
I liked this one. Probably more than the first, in some ways. I found myself laughing a hell of a lot more for this one, but I was less interested in the plot, I guess (if there was one). The addition of new characters was fun, especially Crash and Eddie, the little opossum things.

Rear Window (1954) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
An absolute classic. Stewart at his finest. The way this movie delivers is something akin to brilliance. The story is predictable, at best, but so much more than that due to the way Hitchcock shot it. Were it not shot in such a confining way, it could have been justa nother murder mystery. But keeping you confined to looking out the window for all of your clues makes you feel like you ARE L.B. Jeffries. Really cool.

Classic. But the passion sort of dies towards the end.

V for Vendetta (2006) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
I really enjoyed this one. Awesome effects (though I'm not usuallly into that stuff), cool characters, superbly acted, and a brilliant message, to boot. I adored Stephen Rea and Rupert Graves. But the *real* star is Mr. Hugo weaving. Amazing, that man. There were some glitches in the story, for me- slightly confusing at times, but all in all a good time was had by all. I was highly entertained. A+

Fun with Dick and Jane (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
A few laughs here and there (one scene in particular had me rolling on the floor, laughing) but overall, nothing really remarkable. I feel like Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni are horribly typecast- the former playing the man who has everything, but loses it due to his overzealous ambition and experiences a rather *ungraceful* fall from grace. Leoni is seen here as the wife and mother who just can't cut it as the perfect version of either. The first two thirds and the last almost feel like two films.

Corpse Bride (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Is it just me, or was this just the nightmare before christmas with a slightly different story? The only new addition is a second female character (the corpse bride). I wasn't impressed. Because not only was it Burton-esq (too Burton-esq, if you ask me), it was repeat Burton-esq...ness...

Wedding Crashers (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Gratuitous nudity aside, it's pretty damn funny. Although, I will say that it went on about 30 minutes too long (the entire scene with Will Ferrell and funeral crashing should be removed completely). Nothing really special from either Wilson or Vaughn (typecasting if I ever saw it) but they're good at what they do. I especially enjoyed Rachel McAdams- as I fear that I may be in love with her. :-D

I liked it. Ran a little long, but I liked it anyway. And I do love the dogs :-P
