100 71% Serenity (2005)
"Great ending to a fabulous series! It was great to see the characters again and to see the story wrapping up nicely. Great action, dialogue and effects."
100 71% The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
"I discoverd the character of Lupin the Third with this movie and it is still one of my favorite Lupin movies. Miyazaki shows wonderful sceneries with a cute and action packed story, as strange as that may sound. Highly recommended!"
100 71% Back to the Future (1985)
"The best time travel story I have ever seen. It has everything I wanted in a movie of its kind: great characters, packed with action, comedy and a comprehensive and self-consistent set of rules for time travel. Great movie all over!"
50 3% I, Robot (2004)
"First, it has nothing to do with Dr. Asimov's book. Just the laws of robotics and a couple of names are copied from his original stories. The rest is product placement and action sequences that show the androids as a threat, something that the good Dr. was striclty avoiding in his robot stories because he was fed up with that view. The android character was interesting enough for me to not give this a zero rating."
100 71% Watchmen (2009)
"I loved the gritty world that is presented in this film and how it was adapted for modern viewers without losing its basic concept. Great photography, music and tempo."
85 9% Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
"It's Star Wars, so it's not that bad. And the initial battle sequence is awesome, but I will never swallow the fragmented and unrealistic way that Anaking Skywalker turned to the dark side."
100 71% E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
"When I watched this movie I was eight years old and I loved it. I must have seen it at least 5 times when it came out and I cried every time, even when I knew what was going to happen. Enough said."
100 71% Star Trek (2009)
"Great reboot/refresh of the franchise (only in the Star Trek universe a movie can be a reboot and not at the same time). The filmmakers sure understood how to make Star Trek appealing to a wider audience who could care less about the ten previous films. Modern storytelling techniques and special effects, coupled with great performances by people who really evoke the old characters make for a very powerful movie."
