70 57% | Infernal Affairs (2002) - Rated 17 Sep 2018
"While a good film, it feels rushed in its pacing squeezing a grand story into an hour and a half. There are moments of the film which are incredibly well done and well acted, notably the character arcs of the main two. Unfortunately, it jumps in halfway through these characters' arcs leaving us with only the results and less of seeing why they feel this way. The movie also has very cheesy flashback moments that feel jarring and out of style with the gritty backdrop of the rest of the film."

60 44% | Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - Rated 17 Sep 2018
"While an improvement over the first two, this felt more like an exercise in how many action scenes can be strung together consecutively each with a new cast from one of the many previous films. It doesn't feel bloated and led to genuine surprise at a moment with a previously thought to be dead villian, but it is not as great a film as many have clamored it to be. The movie works more to set up the next film than to be its own which is its biggest drawback, as is its hectic pacing."

20 13% | Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - Rated 17 Sep 2018
"Visually drab, meandering plot, and boring characters. Jeremy Renner gives a strong performance as we get to know Hawkeye better, but the rest of the film builds little in the grand scheme things just kind of happening with bad jokes and unfunny attempts at humor littering nearly every scene of the film. Joss Whedon is unable to craft the film of his ambitions leaving us with one of the worst in the series."

50 34% | The Avengers (2012) - Rated 17 Sep 2018
"Its a perfectly fine film with few major glaring errors, but it fails to be anything more than that. Character's bounce off each other with strong chemistry, but that is unable to elevate the generic plot lacking in any real suspense or tension, being the first of many Marvel films with this problem."

30 19% | Wayne's World (1992) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"Dated. Without the benefit of nostalgia, this just does not hold up as Mike Myers and Dana Carvey feel as though they are just trying too hard and the movie really lacks a hilarious aspect."

90 87% | Pulp Fiction (1994) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"This film is beyond simply influential to modern cinema, it combines top notch editing, acting, directing with a story told not chronologically, its basically a modern classic."
|
88 83% | Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"One of Tarantino's best has all the action you'd want, all the cheesy and over the top moments that you would ever need in an insane action film. Not as deep as say Jackie Brown, but instead it shines as being more enjoyable."

40 25% | Ocean's Twelve (2004) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"It's okay. The fast paced direction and quips remain from the first, except the plot is more outrageous and the cast seems less interested than the previous."

85 79% | Fargo (1996) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"For as dark as this movie is, the Coen brothers did a great job making it funny as well as suspenseful with Steve Buscemi giving a standout performance. Also I cannot listen to enough Minnesotan accents."

90 87% | Saving Private Ryan (1998) - Rated 14 Jul 2018
"Action filled and emotional throughout, Spielberg did a great job showing both courage and fear in the line of duty helped out by some phenomenal acting and good action set pieces."
