The U

This try's to make you think being a gangster makes you a good football player. No they were great athletes. And has nothing to do where you come from.

I'm not a Miami football fan so f off "THUG U". and the best part when they thought they were soooo great and the best college football team The Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions beat them.

Pretty middle of the road as far as sports docs go

Revisionist history

Easily the best doc in the first ten of 30 for 30. A great precursor to the pay for play discussion growing in college sports, and a fun examination of the impact college football has on popular and University culture.

The Hurricanes were pretty awesome, but I didn't need 110 minutes to figure that out. All in all, two lessons: the NCAA is a racist, corrupt organization, and running through smoke is cool as hell.

Pretty sure Bernie Kosar was drunk during the filming.

"greatest dynasty since caesar" empty documentary

The team everyone loves to hate, this does more of a job of glorifying their questionable behavior than diving into the cause and effects of the Miami recruiting, coaching and booster mentalities.

Swagger: The Documentary. My favorite of the 30 For 30 sports documentary series. Captures all of the bombast of a team of predominantly young black men in the 80s who knew they were one of the best in college football. Not every documentary must be incisive and probing, a simple chronicle of a fun team is enough. Best paired with Cocaine Cowboys.
