A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Renaissance fair sitcom set in the Seven Kingdoms = based

This is fantastic so far. It stays rooted in the grimy politics of the world but at a much narrower level, which makes it easily digestible. The chemistry between Dunk and Egg is perfect, and the humor and heartfelt moments ring true. Interesting characters abound and through three episodes , it might be my favorite of the three GoT series.

What a breath of fresh air to have likable characters in a story about honor and chivalry. Millenial/Marvel quippy writing that undercuts EVERY heavy emotional moment with jokes is wholly absent. The writing is actually respectful to the viewer. Absolute banger of a first season.

I appreciate both the smaller scale and the fact that it doesn’t stretch itself too thin like House of the Dragon S2 did. It started out fine, but I found the second half of S1 to be far better. Promising start.

Really nice addition to the world. It brings back the comedy that House of Dragons is largely missing. Nicely deviates from the two prior series by telling a small story instead of an epic. It relies heavily on the charisma of its lead, and he delivers in being maybe the most likeable person in all of Westeros.

A series based on the Game of Thrones universe. It's easy to watch and has a good sense of humor. The acting, cinematography, and immersion in the world are all top-notch. On the downside, some moments are too busy, and some dialogues are excessive. Overall, they could have just released a two-hour movie instead of shooting a separate six-episode series.

Promising start. Quick. Uneventful.

A little slower paced at first, but it earns its keep throughout season 1.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is my favorite show set in Westeros. Peter Claffey is wonderfully charming and the humble and relatable Dunk is a breath of fresh air compared to the lobotomites of late-GoT and the self-important Targaryens of HotD.

incredible show of the early targeryans. its interesting, charming and funny. its gripping when needed and relaxing and calm for the rest. one of my favourite series
