Hugely enjoyable. I'd call it a guilty pleasure, but parts of it are so good - predominantly in the early seasons, granted - that I don't see much reason for being ashamed.

First couple of season are great, but then it loses steam and gets repetitive with and ending that seems hugely rushed and for me illogical.

A good example of a show that just couldn't hold on to momentum. The first season and a half, dealing with SD-6, Sydney as a double agent, are great, peaking in the series' best episode, season 2's "Phase One," an epic climactic episode that just kicks ass. Then the show starts a slow slide downhill to eventually become mind-numbing nonsense by the end. Ron Rifkin and Victor Garber are pretty great through the whole run.

Julia Garner is completely unconvincing & the plot holes don’t help either.

The first season was dumb fun. The second season was dumber but still fun. The third season was a lot less fun but it still managed to be dumber. The fourth season was idiotic and I struggled with finishing it. The fifth and final season was a shitty mess.

Terribly written and executed. Why would a spy wear a neon red wig and a half shirt? That seems counterproductive. Watched through a great number of episode in order to get to an episode in which Quentin Tarantino plays the villain. Not worth it.

I considered the first season a guilty pleasure, but it devolved very quickly after that. Garner always struck me as a risky casting choice that I think actually paid off. Unfortunately the story went off the rails pretty quickly.

Unbelievably fun soapy garbage, nearly impossible to stop watching. The guest actor list is completely bonkers.
