Huh, guess I'm the only Arrow fan on Criticker, huh? Well, if that's how it's gonna be! Mixes pure Nolan-inspired comic booky melodrama with terrific fight choreography and (in its first two seasons, at least) well-paced, exciting plotting. The season 2-ending Deathstroke arc was easily some of my favorite TV of 2014, raising the stakes for Oliver and Starling City to unbelievable, operatic heights. Also, gotta love Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak. Hope season 4 is better than season 3.

Not without some merits, but boring storyline's and casting limit it severely.

Very watchable, but far from great

Seasons 1-3: With one amazing season packed in between two mediocre ones, there is always room for improvement here, but Arrow survives on some strong characters and portrayals within some questionable roles as well. It should be interesting seeing this show progress.

I know this spawned an entire universe of shows on the CW, but, one, I'm not a huge fan of DC, and two, I'm not a huge fan of CW shows. There were some decent drama and action episodes in the early seasons, but by season three I was a bit tired of it all and dropped the series.

Overall a great show, though the inevitable curse of the writers getting in their own way really killed the series in seasons 6-7, where I ended up skipping several episodes. Character development is great, and the show has many "woke" moments, but does a good job of incorporating them into the story instead of force-feeding preachy narratives.

Starts out passable. Becomes horrible.

Arrow starts off strong with Season1 and 2. It does get progressively worse over the rest of the series but it is what started the Arrowverse. I would give the first two seasons easily 94+ but with the subsequent seasons I had to drop it to mid 80s.

Started out a far more interesting show than it became.

Not without it's merits, but with eight seasons it really outstays its welcome. Should have quit somewhere around the fifth season. And while I liked the early cross-overs, the later ones was just too hard to follow unless you had all the series lined up and ready to go.

Season 1 and 2 were one of the best things I've experienced for a TV show. Seasons 4, 6 and 7 were awful. Season 8 was a great ending for this show. Overall, great show that kickstarted the DC TV universe, I will miss it dearly.

Stopped watching after season 5.

I don't really understand the hate this show gets, especially the hate directed at the character of Felicity. Some of the storylines in the later seasons weren't as strong as the beginning, but there's some pretty great stuff in the last couple seasons too. I also loved the way the show ended and I'm excited for the follow up series, if that ends up happening.

Nosedive: the series. Arrow starts of strong, but keeps doubling down on stupid decisions that mid-through season 4 the show is a parody of its former self. Most characters introduced after this point are downright bad. The writing (and especially the dialogue) is repetitive and facile. The action looks and feels fake.

Seasons 1-2 we're great. Season 3 was good. Season 4 and 5 are mediocre. ( Moving onto season 6 now but I don't have much hope for the show).

Started fast and great, and fell apart into nothing even faster.

"This city needs me!" "I have failed this city!" "This city doesn't deserve me!" "This city deserves better than this!" Argh! Somebody, please, hire better scriptwriter for them!

One of the better shows at character building, the flashback sequences are the gold here, showing the main character Oliver's progression into becoming what he is. This is proper character progression and development at its finest and worth the watch for that alone.

A good charismatic cast & all the elements of a great series. Also good music, video & audio production. But it is ruined by horrible rotten stupid writing. Example: Four Gunmen burst into a meeting room, empty their machine guns at people 10 feet away, but they escape without injury. Too many stupid rotten scenes like that make it impossible to enjoy. It is a never ending barrage of insults to our intelligence. Action at the expense of sanity. BOO! BAD! STUPID!
