All of Oprah's disciples are garbage but Phil is the best one because he's so dumb. Plus, he's completely unaware that he's dumb and that sometimes makes for great tv. The best part of his show is the ending, where he walks off the stage with skeletor aka his wife. Please get more plastic surgery babe, it's really working lol. They try so hard to make people think they are in love when you know they hate each other. They remind me of Bill and Hillary. Sensationalist show that solves nothing

Sometimes but certainly not always gets things right, although definitely not above shameless money-making. Among the most egregious examples of the latter would surely be counted those episodes on which the eponymous host has allowed a psychic to appear and offer explanations of other people's problems. Also notable is his willingness to use polygraph tests and endorse the results.

I think it's telling that Dr.Phil is most known for telling people to lose weight, which being a show about therapy, is pretty laughable. There is rarely, if ever, anything insightful or useful that comes from Phil yet he likes to frame every scenario like he's a genius with all the answers to everything while mental patients should kneel beneath his righteous "Common sense." Not to mention he uses his influence to exploit others into obvious scams. What an unlikable piece of shit.

I am torn between how horribly shamelessly bad it is and how it is sometimes amusing for pretending to be serious.
