More flavorless MCU mush with stupid writing and a selfish, unsympathetic main character. The bones are there for a much better story, but Disney seems incapable of producing anything worth a damn these days.

Never watched the Hawkeye show so I didn’t really get the lead in to this. The Native settings & themes are interesting and there’s a couple cool fights. But overall it plays out in a pretty predictable way and for a show that starts like a Marvel take on dark cable antihero type shows the protagonist does the morally safe heroic thing like 95% of the time. The total runtime minus titles/credits/previously on is under 3 hours so I don’t get why this is even a series and not a TV movie.

Kinda boring but loved the Kingpin again.

Pretty decent. Not the best MCU series but not the worst either.

It's alright. It was fun to have small moments with Kingpin and Daredevil again. The story of Echo wasn't quite as exciting as I would have liked. I thought her character was interesting in Hawkeye, but I feel like they could have done something better with her than what they did here. It's nice to see them try something different, but this feels like a miss unfortunately.

Has a strong first couple of episodes, but like several of the MCU D+ offerings it just peters out into nondescript aimless mush. Cox and D’Onofrio are both excellent though.

I feel like all of the Disney+ Marvel shows are either great or decent, with this yet again falling in the latter. Change of location + the Native backstory is nice, grittier tone is welcome, although the action isn’t as good as Daredevil, and it felt like they did the bare minimum to obtain the MA rating. It’s a bit unfocused at times, and could’ve been shortened despite only being 5 short episodes. While it could’ve been better, it’s at least a little refreshing.

Its really just decent, but it feels refreshing in comparison to everything else Marvel has been doing. Even so it has similar problems to the rest of these shows, a weak final episode and rushed conclusions to all the storylines.

This would have been better off clocking in as a made for TV movie. Make it just under 2 hrs and have it focus on Maya learning more about her heritage while distancing herself from all she has ever known. The filler stuff just slowed down the show. It was all fall out from Hawkeye and offered very little in the way of development because she had already felt this way in that series. It was just a transition show to position Kingpin as a big bad moving forward. I hate when Marvel does this.
