Family Feud

It's a'ight.

This game show is the basis for Jon Stewart's comedy. You know how Stewart will just stare into a camera and have that wtf look on his face after they heavily edit some clip and his sheep audience will wildly applaud? Al Borland was the master of that shit. The show is basically for complete idiots, aka the type of person who would be home regularly at 11 am on a Tuesday. It hides how dumb the show really is with wonky camera movements and bright flashing lights so that's pretty chill I guess

The current iteration has gone through 4 hosts since 1999, but I think we can all agree that they finally got it right with Steve Harvey. His constant mockery of dumb contestant answers is often hilarious and easily the highlight of the show.

I hate Steve Harvey

It's alright if you want to turn your brain off for a bit. Compared to other game shows, there's at least some semblance of thought in figuring out what the best answer would be in a survey question. On the other hand though, literally nothing matters besides the final round making most of the game feel pointless. The hosts range from bland to pretty comical, I actually find Steve Harvey funny at times.

Decent background noise.

It says this is different somehow than the original in the summary..K never noticed..The guy from Home Improvement hosted this Richard Karn and then Steve Harvey...I like both hosts again ok show.

I have to say, what Family Feud has become over the years is awe-inspiring. Steve Harvey is so terrible and the families chosen are so magnificently dumb that this some becomes a train-wreck that it is impossible to look away from, even though you want to.
