Flashforward

Robert J. Sawyer's novel is a rather entertaining if flimsy affair, as was this series based on the same. Started intriguingly but petered out steadily towards its inevitable cancellation.

Good story but it was not allowed to really develop

I remember this show starting out with some promise but I quickly got bored with it. I think I might have stopped watching it before it was canceled.

There was a lot of potential within this series moving forward had there been more than one season. One of the best ensemble casts with one of the most intriguing plots in all of television at the time. The only hinderance was it catered to network audiences and played the Sci-Fi card rather reluctantly when it possibly could have attracted the audience the show coveted so desperately.

(Estimated rating long after watching.) It's a shame that there's no season 2.

Flashforward begins as a terrific mystery series. The actors are all good, the story is intriguing, and the premise is solid. That being said, almost everything derails by the second half. Becoming overblown and it loses all of the tension and mystery edge that had been building.

An intruiging pilot episode and a pretty suspenseful finale are separated by a long line of boring, predictable and poorly executed fillers, also known as the entire series. I did not cry when this wasn't renewed for a second season.

Rather intriguing, but of course it goes nowhere since the show was cancelled. Ricky Jay has a part...as "Ted Flosso".
