If they had all six actors there why didn’t they just do an in-universe continuation that picked up the story 17 years later????

James Corden should only host cockfights.

It's actually about as well done as you could hope for. I would have preferred less celebrity appearances that had no connection to the show, like I don't need James Corden or Justin Bieber at all. But it was definitely just fun to see the group back together.

I am a huge Friends fan and I can't justify the existence of this reunion (except the obvious - money). It was cluttered with useless things - fans(?!) telling their life story, random celebrities popping in (Lady Gaga, Kit Harrington) and a lot of(and I mean way too much) scenes from the show itself. We are fans - we remember the episodes! Those were the three main problems I had with the special. The brief conversations and reenactments the cast had, did not make it worthwhile for me.

I had fun watching The Reunion, laughed, cried and most importantly filled with joy. But there were some moments that I didn't like. I found the celebrities who came as fans of the series unnecessary. Instead of them, only the Friends cast and the actors who were guests of the series should have taken place. Also, James Corden was a terrible moderator.

It was such a treat to see them back together. I enjoyed the different guessing games.

This had a chance to be good, but instead of focusing on the interesting parts about the actors, they decided to go for blooper reels and Bieber.

Friend: The Reunion should come with the warning that it's hosted by James Corden. Accordingly, the entire event is a banal exercise in reflection that amounts to nothing more than a clip-show with it's own cast fawning over their fond memories (and presumably their accompanying bank balances). Admittedly I'm not a Friends super-fan, though I have enjoyed the show, but this was just disappointingly mediocre.

Outside of being a nostalgia trip to an iconic TV series, I didn't think this was that good. It was nice seeing the cast and sets again sure, but anytime James Corden came on-screen he made things really annoying to watch. As for the rest, it's mostly memories and little trivia/tidbits. Some behind the scenes/making of stuff, but it didn't hold my interest as much as I hoped. They read some scripts and answer questions, but it's just okay. Emotion feels forced, but still watchable.

This was a walk down memory lane with the cast of Friends that any fan of the show will enjoy.

This isn't an artwork or very scripted Documentary. It's just admiration for the work and a great throwback for some generation. And For Us, this thing was heavy to watch. It was emotional. Loved it. But there was too much irrelevant stuff (like Lady Gaga's Smelly Cat thing or all celebrity talks and etc.)
