Immature Doctors Screaming at Each Other: The Series.

Set against the extremely low bar that is network drama, it's actually not terrible. But set against any objective bar, it's not good.

It seems like everytime this series has a glimmer of hope to have a decent storyline it ultimately ends up soiling the bed which creates a storyline where a nurse falls in love with someone who displays their feelings through their bowel movements. Yeah, I kinda got off track there for a bit but this show is not worth the bajillion seasons it now has.

Ahh... Grey's Anatomy, the show I have been following the longest. I did not like some story lines (Gizzy... ew) and some of the later seasons seemed like the show would fade away to oblivion of once great shows. But they really got their act together, and I like the latest season (12) really a lot (which I did not expect after the end of season 11 - but it did the show more good than bad). I will definitely watch Grey's till the end, I did kind of grow up with all of them :)

How can a comfort show also be so traumatizing?? Hm Shonda??

seasons 17, 18 are boring

Ranking this on the first 3 seasons before I dropped the show forever. I liked the soundtrack, and I enjoyed the original cast of the show, but at some point there was just a revolving door of death, with main characters dying or leaving unexpectedly in the most fantastical of fashions. You just roll your eyes and decide only the first few seasons exist and call it a day.

The length of this show's run is pretty freakin' incredible. I don't really care about the actual content of the show, but it's remarkable what an institution it's become for ABC with the ratings never falling anywhere short of terrific.

Ridiculously over-the-top, contrived and maudlin hospital-themed soap opera.

Sure, it's a fun watch, however, the writing becomes very stale and predictable. I would avoid this show after the first season or two.

What I like about Grey's Anatomy is the unpredictability who is going to be killed off. Since this is a rather enormous show, actors come and go frequently and you never know who will just about have enough and leave. Literally everyone except Ellen Pompeo is deserting the show at some point, so it's a murder/nature cataclysm bingo.

This show is a little over the top with the contrived drama and politics but for the most part my wife and I enjoy watching together. The earlier seasons are the best.
