The stroy-telling isn't exactly groundbreaking, but the conceit is clever and the cinematography is gorgeous. Well acted, ably directed and overall just an enjoyable watch. In many ways, this is a non-disappointing version of the Long Night for Game of Thrones fans.

While what is there is a very fresh take on the zombie genre it has the case where it feels like it was only half a season. The climax of the series was just starting when the series ends. I hope they release more because where it ends leaves a bit of a bad taste.

High production values, but the writing is of a low budget 90's adventure series, complete with hilariously incompetent antagonists and a pure princely hero (literally) who risks his entire country to save a few sick civilians. It's honestly ridiculous.

Well done Korean historical political drama with a big dash of zombie horror that feels fresh.

The production quality is insane and I like the zombies and the plague. Doona Bae is great as usual, and the other cast is good too. However, I didn't really feel much of a connection to some of the characters. Also, a few characters make dumb decisions which makes them somewhat unbelievable.

If you still have blue balls from the White Walker plot of Game of Thrones you will most likely enjoy this. Gorgeous cinematography and production design, though the characters could have used some work to make them stand out.

The scenery, acting, and costumes are good, but the story is told in such an unsatisfactory way that I got sick of watching it after just two episodes. I am also just a little too tired of zombie movies and this one is not interesting enough to keep me watching.

Fun genre mash-up that feels like baby's first Game of Thrones (first 5 seasons) in a lot of places. The cinematography and production design is top notch and the action often thrillingly staged. Characters are archetypes with little to no nuance, but you enjoy their presence nonetheless. The big culprit here are the zombies themselves; their power level wholly subservient to the conveniences of the plot and their design not provoking real terror. Plotting in general is a little lackluster.

Rating for the first season (as of review there hasn't been more seasons released). I'm not a huge horror fan, but this series teeters with horror so eloquently with drama, history, mystery and even a tiny dash of romance so that the horror doesn't feel tedious or repetitive (*COUGHTHEWALKINGDEADCOUGH*) Absolute and definite watch recommendation even if you are not a fan of horror or K-drama.
