This movie has a boring script. There is no one really to root for in this movie because the dialogue and characters are so boring. There is not enough action scenes either. Overall this movie is really bad.

It has some clunky 1-liners, soap opera-level performances & 1 of those absurd 80's bosses who bitches no matter what the hero does, but that's unsurprising for what it is: a 1998 pilot for a series. The comics WERE better but that's bc of Steranko's artwork - the stories themselves were also reheated James Bond. Given tv's budget & need for a name tv star at the time, I'm not sure how much better it could be. Goyer knows Fury's world & the leads look the part (& Rinna looks great in leather).

I watched this with my brother and we had quite a bit of fun. This is one of those movies that is so bad that it's good. Campy, dumb and with poor production value. It honestly makes sense they cast Hasselhoff because it's stupid fun similar to Knightrider and The A-Team. Hasselhoff starts out holding on for dear life to his cigar but he actually grows into the role. Of course, nothing about this movie is good, but that's the charm. Lisa Rinna's butchered face is honestly the worst thing here.

This isn't so much a bad film, just a cheesy old TV movie from before Hollywood figured out that the kids who used to read comic books grew up and now have disposable incomes and nostalgia and children, and also that The Matrix was popular, and CGI can be more or less perfect now, if you have the money

Beeing the blueprint for every recent Marvel movie and the one and only true Avengers film this one stands out not only for the top notch acting, impressive visuals and brillant script, but also for The Hoffs best performance since Baywatch Nights.

This isn't a good movie, but i've seen a lot worse superhero movies. Its biggest story flaw is that its mostly just action/spy movie cliches. None of the actors do a memorable job, and the main villain is very goofy and over the top. I wouldn't recommend this movie, even to fans of the comics.

It's a Marvel comic based movie that came out before Hollywood realized that the comic book movies were a gold-mine. This movie was horribly thrown together, because, obviously, no one cared. Nick Fury, starring David Hasselhoff is low movie quality tripe, and the rest of the movie makes about as much sense as it did casting Hasselhoff in anything after Knight Rider. Utter crapulence!

Ahh! I turned this movie on once because I wanted to catch a glimpse of David Hasselhoff trying to be a badass. This was a terrible mistake as I accidentally left it on and ended up watching the whole thing! Okay, so Hasselhoff is a pop culture icon, but he is a terrible actor and every plot point, scene, and character in this movie is ridiculous.

Well, it's not as amazingly bad as Captain America and not as outright offensive as the original Dolph Lundgren Punisher, but it's horrible TV movie tripe (which is exactly what it was). David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury looks ridiculous with the eyepatch and hams it every chance he gets. Extremely dumb, but not the bottom of the barrel. Close, but not the bottom.
