Pretty Little Liars

Say what you will about this show (as if you've been holding off on that until I finally gave you permission to do so...), but the extraordinarily accomplished noir episode (s4e19) is pretty damn awesome. (3 episodes)

The story is pure garbage, but the leads are actually decent for what it is.

Back in the veeeeerrryyy beginning, it was twisty, soapy, and arguably even somewhat sexy (sneaking just-not-showing-the-nipples nudity and lesbian sex onto ABC Family) fun. Then it ran for a billion episodes and became stupid. I do still like the cast. Amber Benson and Lucy Hale both have screen presence.

A show that I never really thought I would rate so highly proves to me once again that every show deserves a chance. All the main characters have their own personalities that develop quite well as the series moves forward. There is enough twists and turns, some of them coming completely out of left field which hurts the series at times. That being said the four main leads of Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell are all engaging in their respective roles.

Perfect blend of thriller and teen drama. A bit cheesy at times, but I'm hooked.

You can actually watch the show but «Riverdale» is way darker than this one and more thrilling. The pace of the Mystery is not that fast. I mean, it is more like a soap opera for teens. You have to wait until the second season to know who is behind the A letter, too slow for me. For me is a, commonly said, girly TV series with too much Drama and little Mystery.
