richard hammond not being blown to smithereens in his 2006 car crash demonstrates the profound indifference of the universe.

Easy enough watching I guess. But Clarkson is a dick and a fitting final episode for the Clarkson era would have been Hammond and May gently bring Clarkson to climax. That would have summed up their relationship just right.

So much more than a car review show. The chemistry between the hosts and kind of sniggering schoolboy antics they get up to are two of the biggest strengths of this show. Sometimes there are "wacky circumstances" that are obviously scripted and it takes me out of it a bit, but it's still great all-in-all. The best episodes are the big specials like "Vietnam." You can probably skip the first few seasons, the rest is solid.

I am not a "car guy" by any means, but this may be the most entertaining show ever made.

The format is just a combination of car reviews and creative challenges (plus the celebrity interview), but what makes Top Gear so special is the dynamic and stylised cinematography and editing, as well as the chemistry of the hosts. The special episodes are truly something next level, globetrotting roadtrip adventures. It's the most globally iconic BBC television ever.

I hate Top Gear, and I hate anyone that likes it. And I'm now, I'm going to explain why that is for about forty-five minutes. Then there's a little bit about cider, and that's the end.

Top Gear is the perfect combination of car reviews, fun car bits, and almost non-stop humor. But once Hammond, Clarkson, and May leave the show becomes unwatchable.

Google "Stewart lee" along with "Richard Hammond" and watch the video. Sums it up for me. Trash humans.

As detestable as they are the specials had some good cinematography and the odd giggle, Vietnam one was pretty good.
