Trapped

I think we're finally getting out of it a bit now, but in 2015 "drab" really did bring you places. Horrible weather, a troubled detective, a retarded small village, just all around nasty circumstances. Trapped is so slow it's almost comical, but it's not exactly bad. The actors are doing a good job. It's the plot that unfortunately can be predicted early on. It doesn't have a spark that made me want to keep watching, but i did, unwillingly.

Good Icelandic drama. Geez there's a lot of crime there.

Beautiful landscapes, chilling atmosphere. Likeable protagonists make the show very engaging.

Opening credits is the only worthy part of this series.

First season is a solid 90 from me. Interesting story, brilliant and thrilling structure, gloomy atmosphere but I must admit that second season was very disappointing. They've just tried to use the same structure for a different story but it doesn't work like that. Once you get used to the structure, it makes everything predictable, instead of mysterious. There were also so many cliches and terrible performances from some supporting actors. IMO, a tragic end would've been much better.

Season 2 is even better than the first!

You!!!
