your usual "dead weirdo kids kill people"-story. but there's this one element, a sort of internet page, where people inform others about their meals and opinions, discuss cosmetics, fashionables & electronic music, seek approvement of their boring as fuck lives by uploading boring as fuck fotos, as if approvement were a collectible that improved something somehow...that part really scared the shit out of me.

The moral of this story : Don't except friend requests from people you don't know very well, it might be the neighborhood "PSYCHO" who likes to practice evil rituals .... Or something like that

To be fair, I've seen worse. This movies biggest offense is that it relies on cliches and cheap jump scares. There would have been more potential. Also, those light blue contact lenses were awfully obvious...

Really, really dumb but in a way that I found it really hard to not be oddly charmed by.

Verhoeven delivers another brilliant satire disguised as as a genre piece, this time tackling the changing landscape of social interaction brought on by social media and the privacy issues surrounding Facebook. Oh, wait, no. That's the elder Verhoeven I'm thinking of. This is trash.

Clearly trying to cash in on the Unfriended hype. Seriously don't know how this got a theatre release instead of going straight to VOD like it's shitty horror brethren

Blahhh this is what happens when you don't understand the nuanced beauty within a film like Unfriended. The characters in Unfriended acted how regular teenagers act. In this movie every person needs to be an arch type and just bust into the protagonists life to blurt out a near catch phrase basically. Takes a similar premise and over complicates it. But maybe this will make the troglodytes who couldn't grasp Unfriended actually appreciate it.
