I mean look, it's silly and stupid like the first movie was (from what I remember). But there's still something lovable about Dex and Ed, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't chuckle a bunch of times. It doesn't have what it takes to be one of the truly great comedies, but it's also a pleasant hour and a half, and sometimes that's enough.

I'm a big fan of the original Good Burger, but obviously I recognize it's more of a personal bias thing than it being a really well made movie. So all I was really hoping from this was that it would bring back some of that nostalgia of seeing Kenan and kel working together again, and it did to a point, but the chemistry wasn't as strong between them anymore, which I suppose makes sense, but is unfortunate. The story also copies too much from the original imo.

Completely inoffensive sequel that I'll give a slight thumbs up to for not ruining the original. While it doesn't have anything as good as Kurt putting people in the grinder, there's enough genuine laughs to make it worth your time. Just don't expect anything beyond a made for streaming Nickelodeon sequel of 20+ year old source material. You can see it in Kel's forehead.

Like a fast food menu, not much changes over time, but it gives me what I want and expect in a satisfying way.

I actually re-watched the first one pretty recently, and was surprised by how many laughs it still got out of me. It's silly, of course, but some of the interactions and responses from Ed and Kurt in that movie were hilarious. This one I chuckled a few times, but walked away feeling like it was a missed opportunity.

It is nothing more than a movie about Ed and Dex and how so much time has passed. It is funny at times, Alex Hibbert as Ed's oldest son was absolutely the highlight of the film. That kid has a bright future if he plays his cards right.

Starts off with throw-backs from the first one before it sets up its own agenda. Which is more fast food stupidity. Not always as on point as the first one, but after so many years, it's still welcome burger madness the way the first one did it. A crazy mess as ordered through Good Burger. Ed is a legend.

I thought the original was good and figured this one would be too. In some ways it was better, but by the end, I was struggling to stay invested.
