Not that good, not that bad. The pacing is quite slow and story mediocre. Pam Grier is fun to watch though

Pam Grier plays a tough PI who gets in over her head when she takes on the gangsters trying to muscle her father out of his business. It's a standard revenge plot in the same vein as Coffy or Foxy Brown, with Pam catfighing and Jet Skiing her way up the scumbag food chain to the local kingpin. She chooses to take on the final boss wearing a skintight wetsuit and brandishing an uzi and a speargun. Stay classy, mama.

Very bog-standard blaxploitation romp that will satisfy your crave for 70s genre groove but doesn't really engage beyond the minimum level of its cultural & aesthetic niche. A bit toned down as far as these things go & aside from the action-packed ending, there's a sorry lack of distinctly amusing or interesting elements. Pam Grier sure is an effortlessly watchable leading lady though & whenever she actually gets something to do it never fails to challenge formulaic mediocrity to some extent.

Stiff, mediocre blaxploitation that's generally a dull affair but a little more enjoyable than it should be thanks to Pam Grier's charisma and the image of her in a wetsuit hunting down criminals with a harpoon.

Not right up there with Foxy Brown and Coffy, but this is definitely must-watch blaxploitation.

Pam Grier is great in the lead role. Watching Grier and the fun action scenes are the highlights of this movie. The script is absurd at times but it is fun. Overall I would recommend this movie.
