Simply Irresistible

I liked this, but I'm a sentimentalist. I've seen it a couple of times, and I'd happily watch it again.

This movie had me in fits of laughter it's so bad. Which is why I gave it a decent score, because it's so worthy of the crown of worst movie ever.

Um, no, it isn't.

As is titled, yet the writing is frequently poor & the construction stupid. Soundtrack swells, lots of unnecessary shots, slow. Good supporting cast for maximum cuteness.

Bad Movie

I'm trying to listen to the new Robert Palmer tape, but Evelyn, my supposed fiancée, keeps buzzing in my ear. *hacks entire cast to death*

Cute & charming, with a good cast. SMG should really do more romcoms. Despite being a fun watch, this definitely had its share of problems. Lots of plot elements popped up without any real reason or explanation, and nobody's reaction to the magic makes much sense.

So it's a romantic-comedy version of Perfume: the Story of a Murderer. This was an HDTGM watch, better be good

I watched this movie for a bad movie night, and while it delivered on that in being weirdly paced and edited - y'all, it's actually thematically rich? The sense of engaging with one's passions, communicating them to others, the fundamental meaning of art, is on display here. And the love interest's arc of not wanting to be vulnerable and lose control of his emotions when that's what love demands is compelling despite the character himself not being that interesting. It's weird and I like it.
