A very well scripted movie on love and obsession. The movies goes back and forth in time to establish the relationship of the main characters. The movie takes an interesting portrayal of Midsummer Nights Dream. A very good movie to watch. The acting, script, story is all that makes this movie worth watching.

Beautiful film with lots of twists. Wasn't satisfied with the ending though

Watched it in about 1998 and just rewatched yesterday, 2022. I remember it as being fun and stylish. Still stylish but the ending was sadder and didn't tie-up? Good colour.

I enjoyed the hell out of this twisty romance/mystery film up until the inexplicably discordant ending. I have no problems with unpredictability but it has got to have some sort of underlying foundation of thematic continuity or psychological basis, which the ending of this film clearly did not possess.

Gripping tale of love and obsession with a fiendishly complex plot. It's mysterious, thrilling and you never know what's going to happen next. But I felt that the wrong characters ended up with the happy ending.

Overall Enjoyment: 25/40, Plot/Themes: 15/20, Cinematography/Direction: 10/20, Acting/Writing: 10/20 Strange movie that had a neat story, but never made me care enough about the characters. Also I dislike ending that negate most of what happens in the movie.

The Criticker suggest this would be 90 to me, but it lacked something, and it did big time. I like MB, I like VC a lot, but the script was ridiculous. Sorry, Monica

Bewitching and mysterious romance film about real people with flaws and insecurities, and the entangled relationships they live out. Time-hopping and confusing but brilliant throughout with great performances from all four leads. Great film.

God damn this is one hellaciously confusing movie. It's no help that movies that jump back and forth on the timeline are basically my cinematic kryptonite as far as comprehension goes. I found it very hard to keep track of who knew what and who didn't throughout the movie. It's a good movie, though. It's unpredictable, well-acted, well-shot, the music is good, etc. It's more than a little reminiscent of The Double Life of Veronique, which is another movie I didn't quite get. I'm stupid.
