When the little girl becomes owner of a valuable mine, the brother now plans to get rid of the Sheriff, Murphy, and the girl.

Ray Whitley and his Bar-Six musical cowboys apply for work at the Bar-X ranch. The owner refuses at first but gives in when his niece intercedes. When the owner of the Lazy Q hears the music, she steps foot on the Bar-X for the first time in years. Ray and the girl get the two owners together and they decide to marry and merge the ranches.

Bill Dane and Banty quit Kell's outlaw gang. When Dane prevents Kell and his men from getting a bullion shipment, he is made Sheriff. Learning Dane is Sheriff, Kell and gang return, force Dane to give them the bullion, and make Dane a prisoner. Escaping, Dane trails the gang and engages them in a gunfight while his horse Tarzan goes for help.

Manning breaks out of prison and joins Blake's gang of outlaws. Later a paroled Muggs arrives to rejoin the gang. Muggs is the only one who knows where the stolen money is hidden and Manning is after it.

Mr. Jones overhears a doctor prescribe a diet he thinks is for him, but it's really for his dog.

Kate Hilton, returning to her ranch in Springfield via stagecoach after learning of the murder of her father, meets U.S. Marshal Nevada Jack McKenzie. The stage is held up and robbed of the rancher's money, but Nevada manages to bring it in after the driver has been killed. Sandy Hopkins, also a U.S. Marshal, is posing as a cook at the only café in town. Joel Edwards now running the Wells Fargo office after Hilton was killed, and Kate are in love.

Because town cut-throat Phil Randall wants the ranch owned by "Pop" McGee on which is located a valuable silver deposit, he frames McGee on a cattle rustling charge, and the old man is sentenced to hang. "Boots" Annie is determined to save him, so she sends for U.S. Marshals Nevada Jack McKenzie and Sandu Hopkins, who rescue McGee from jail on the eve of his hanging. They then set out to gather the evidence to clear McGee and convict the real villains.

Saved from a lynching party when Molly Denton (Nell O'Day) and Nina Kincaid (Anne Nagel) bring proof of mistaken identity, roving cowpuncher Steve Hardin (Johnny Mack Brown) is offered a job as a stagecoach guard by Molly's father Joseph Denton (Henry Hall). When Denton is ambushed and killed in an attempt to get a gold shipment through to the next town, Steve signs on himself and his sidekick, Clem Clemmons (Fuzzy Knight), as driver and guard for the stage line.

It is 1937, but the life out West has not changed much. The boys are working at the Wyoming ranch of Captain Marvin herding horses which he sells to Kurt Redman. Marvin will not sell any horses to any army, but the boys find out that Redman is a German agent shipping the horses directly to the Third Reich. When Marvin tries to stop Redman, his son Tad, who is studying medicine in Germany, is arrested and held hostage. Marvin must fire the boys as the sneaky German agents take over the ranch, but

Evelyn and Irene Courtney, through the helplessness of their father, who is a cripple, are given charge of the general store and post office. A large bag of gold with registered letters, etc., are delivered by the mail carrier one day. Dick Lee, a notorious outlaw, sees the delivery of the valuable bag. That night, with a gang, Lee breaks into the post office and would have carried off the treasure, had not Evelyn escaped through a back window, mounted her horse, and rode away.

Ex-wife Lena Malena wants her alimony, but Taylor Holmes pleads poverty. So she moves in on him and current wife Natalie Moorhead.

A district attorney goes after an illegal abortion ring that preys on desperate young girls.

Through a kindly act Broncho Billy earns the deep gratitude of Marion Rivers, who presents him with a Bible. Not long afterwards, she comes upon him as he is about to hold up the stage, but at sight of the girl he is overwhelmed with shame and taking out the little Bible promises her that he will live honorably.

Someone is adding beef to Rocky Brown's herds and changing the brands to make it look like he is rustling. Then he is framed for murder and jailed. Johnny Argyle who has been sent to investigate believes he is innocent and sets out to prove it and starts with hides that have been rebranded.

Fawcett has obtained the deed to Banning's mine. Thinking the mine is worthless he sells it to Bob McVey. But when he learns the mine contains Tungsten, he sets out to get it back.
