More of the same material from Atkinson et al...Black Adder is a viciously funny and somewhat sympathetic character, even when he's doing something slimy and underhanded.

As good as - or even better than - the terrific "Black-Adder II", the third Blackadder series offers generous servings of incredibly brainy, snappy humour, apt sociopolitical critique and engaging storylines. All six episodes are perennially entertaining, the characters, both recurring and non-recurring, are extremely memorable, and the actors are fantastic, with Hugh Laurie entering the main cast as Prince George in an uproariously funny performance.

Quite funny and tied for my favorite season of the series. Hugh Laurie & Stephen Fry were welcome additions.

Every character is at their best in this one, but Rowan and Hugh are playing comedy chess! Also I'm an American, so the increase of lighting and pastels makes me clap like a trained seal.
