I thought this was mostly on the same funny, incisive level of mid-career Carlin. Brilliant observations about American politics get punctuated by a not-so-funny final act regarding the secret to happiness.

Better than the last Jefferies I watched which was mostly recycled content, this one's mostly new stuff! Funny, minus the poo bit!

For the most part "Freedumb" is a pleasant if inessential special. There are a few moments, though, where Jefferies raises the bar not only in the laughter department but also concerning the overall scope of his material, thus leaving you with the impression that, although it's not his best hour, it's definitely an indication of his capabilities.

Much of it is typical liberal dogma without going full SJW, but also refraining from mocking said people despite having discussed offending them. He has a few good jokes here and there, his punchline about the Cosby rape was pretty good but his whole tangent about religion might as well have had him tipping his fedora at the end. I don't get why people view him as insightful on current political issues, especially when he admits to making up statistics and talking out of his ass.

Jim continues his reign as the best working stand up comic today. While most comedians become boring after having kids, Jim continues to push the envelope even while talking about fatherhood.
