To prove my fandom to the void I have a copy of Inhumans #1 1975 signed by Jack Kirby... but I could just barely sit through this. I cared deeply about making this work but the writing is Herculean in its awfulness. Rereading the Royal Family's introductory fight against the "Spawn of Alien Heat" Blastaar: The Living Bomb is practically Shakespearean by comparison.

Inhumans looks cheap and is shockingly boring for a superhero show that has a city on the moon. The problem is bad writing never lets the characters overcome their poor, one-dimensional introductions, meaning that you're less invested in everything that happens to them.

What a mess. There's no better word to describe Inhumans. I usually try to find something redeemable in almost anything I watch, but here? Nothing works. Dreadful, didn't bother watching more than a couple episodes. Would have rated earlier but it took me awhile to even remember it existed.

Some episodes were entertaining but the overall feel of the show was not good. Felt poorly made. Not the actors fault I think they did the best they could. It was just the story was poorly executed.

One dumb decision piled onto another. Possibly the dumbest was casting Anson Mount as the lead and then never having him say a word. No, actually the dumbest was not making Lockjaw the main character.

I like the few Inhumans comics I have read, even though I find them somewhat slow and pretentious. I am shocked that this piece of trash has been approved by anyone. The effects are decent, but the sets, the costumes, the plot and the acting are all amateur hour. I loved Mount in Star Trek, but he can't pull of Black Bolt. Leung was the only bright spot; the rest is pure garbage.

I liked some aspects of this, but it was incredibly stupid to shave off Serinda Swan's hair in the first episode to avoid using CGI for her power. Why even have her character if you're going to do that? That being said I do think there was still enough there to keep me watching the series, but it was just very poorly handled overall. They probably should have kept it as a movie as originally intended, so it could be handled right.

Cringe: The Superheros.

I watched a few episodes of this, and it was embarrassingly bad. I am pretty easy to please, or at least cause to vegetate and ignore , but this stands out.

meh.. episode 3 is a bit better than 1 and 2 when we start learning motivations for the leads actions. this should have been in flashbacks in the premiere.

Dull and sterile, with the cheap, cheesy vibe of a mediocre syndicated sci-fi show from the early 90s. I struggled to make it through the debut. I doubt I'll watch anymore, life is too short and there are too many other shows to watch.
