S1. Don't even try S2, it's abysmal.

Addicting and fascinating watch. The protagonist is kind of a jerk, and I respect that.

Nice going Discovery Channel, I didn't know you had it in you. At the end of the day, it feels like Mindhunter operating at about 40% power but that's still pretty good. I'm not sure how much the non-linear nature added to the show. Some excellent moments of both editing and sound design. This show really has a thing for those shots where the 'smart guy' surrounds himself with hundreds of intricately fanned out documents that he can't possibly read from where he is.

After watching a few snippets, I had low hopes for this series - it looked bland and with no real atmosphere. But I enjoyed every episode of both seasons. Last season was a fascinating encounter between the hypocritical and self-deceptive New Yorkers and the raw, tribal mentality of South State rednecks plus the old, wise hero who could see through both groups. Despite the fact that it deals with serial killers, there is not a great deal of blood and violence. It will not disturb your sleep.

I remember watching a couple of documentaries on the Unabomber 20-odd years ago and aside from the experiments at Harvard this didn’t add anything I didn’t know already. In fact too much artistic licence creates unnecessarily over-dramatised scenes and sequences you know are bollocks before you’ve even fact-checked them. The makers just about manage to drag out what they have to 8 episodes: it’s not something I’d dedicate myself to but you can follow it if it’s on in the background.

What's cool about this docuseries is how much dignity it gives Kaczynski and his ideals. Ted was ahead of his time. The future is beginning to take note and it shows itself in this project. There's a lot going on here with various plots and amazing use of allegory. Never does this talk down to the audience. I appreciate that. The acting performances by Bettany and Worthington are superb.

Definitely helped by a strong performance by Paul Bettany but ultimately the narrative is a throwaway plot you can read on the internet in about 5 minutes. It should have been a top notch production with a real life back story instead they chose to make the Fitz character a mashup. Thats where the show goes off the deep end and really does not correct itself before the end. Should have scored above 90 and I feel even an 80 is being generous.

Gerçek bir konu, bombacı halen yaşıyor ve hapiste. İzlemeye değer. Şu anda netflixte

Working the "linguistic forensics" of Don Foster into the über-composite lead cop character is a monumentally dumb decision that the series never really overcomes. The sections focusing on Henry Murray and MKUltra are atrocious in style and sub-Simple-English-Wikipedia in intellectual heft. Please, please instead read Alston Chase's 'A Mind for Murder' or especially the late Michael Mello's 'The United States of America vs. Theodore John Kaczynski: Ethics, Power, and the Making of the Unabomber
