Composed of footage from long-running, popular Japanese game show Takeshi's Castle (1986) featuring Takeshi Kitano, the audio has been over-dubbed and altered in a comical manner, similar to "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist", "Samurai Pizza Cats", or "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" (Summary by ShogunRua)

No one does crazy game shows better than Japan, and no one does being a sarcastic asshole better than America (except maybe England). This is a perfect combination of the two. I'm not saying watching it is better when you're stoned, but I'm not NOT saying that.

"Don't Get Eliminated!!!!!" Watching people get hurt has never been funnier. This makes "Wipeout" it's bitch!

Probably the most perfect waste of time ever put into syndication.

MXC is a descent into absolute madness. It's nonstop one-liners, puns, story-jokes, body humor, gross-out humor, sex jokes, improv, bait-and-switch, and just about every other form of comedy known to man. The production is insane enough to keep the energy high and the voice-actors are all very talented. In one sense, this is a nightmare, on the other, it is undeniably funny.

Unmatched by its contemporaries. The US ripoff of this lacked the joke writing in the commentary and the absurd cruelty inherent in some of the challenges. Just good fun.

Amazingly high entertainment value. The overdubbing is sometimes so childish its cringy but there are at least a handful of gut busters every single episode.

Absolute comedy gold. I loved all the competitions they made the challenger's go through and the comedic English dubbing made them all the more entertaining to watch. I love it when they make completely asinine backstories for each of the competitors(Often parodying real life people or fictional characters) and/or make them dress up in tacky, ridiculous costumes that legitimately handicap their performance in these competitions.

If you told me the premise, I'd imagine that it'd be really funny for about 5 minutes, then get extremely tiresome. Thank god I'm not a producer that would have red-lighted this. It's legitimately comedy gold. This was pretty much on a constant loop on my tv during my college years.
