Patton Oswalt: We All Scream

A worthless promotion for the vaccine and "the science". I don't think I laughed once.

Pretty funny, and some of the negative comments here are almost as funny.

Oswalt is so endearing that it forgives the material.

Not Patton Oswalt's strongest material, but whatever, it's like listening the Killers releasing a new album. It probably won't approach "Hot Fuss" but you're just happy they are still producing enjoyable music.

Mild entertainment. The "talk to the audience" break got in the way.

A majority of this works because Patton is good at what he does, but, for a special, this is his weakest material. He even resorts to some crowd work, which also mostly works. Conflicted.

Definitely evidence that Patton is a truly talented, top tier stand up comedian. It's unfortunate that so much of the special focuses only really on two subjects: Covid and meeting his audience, but it is fun to see him work off them directly and brings a sense of community that too few comedians try to foster.
