Can anyone explain to me why everyone in the North Pole is a gigantic dick to anyone who is different at all? It's worse than a middle school up there.

Hermey, our little makeshift dentist, is desperate to spring into action when it means ripping the teeth out of the snow monster, but he doesn't have a single word of advise for Yukon Cornelius who can't keep his filthy pickaxe out of his mouth.

The moral I take from this : It's okay to be different

There's an awful lot of repressed rage going on in the North Pole. And why is Santa such a dick? He basically says you should feel ashamed of a deformity unless it serves a useful purpose. More to the point, why does Hermes look different from all the other elves, and why wasn't he ostracized for this? Then you have that tall elf from accounting? what? Lots of fucked up shit went down in 1964.

Rudolph is black, Hermey is gay, and the North Pole is bigoted as fuck.

If you don't watch this at Christmastime, you're a fucking terrorist.

A goddamn classic full of delightful fucking characters and cum-swappingly charming songs for the whole motherfucking family to enjoy.

Poor innocent kid tormented by bullies including Santa, finally got accepted only because it saves everyone's ass. Merry Christmas.

As far as cheesy christmas movies go, it's not bad. It does feel like there were two competing visions here, though, as it goes back and forth between sappy and slightly gruff.
