Never really liked this show, even as a kid. Zack was an obvious Ferris Bueller clone, and the whole show wasn't funny enough to justify its cheesiness. Screech was the obvious breakout.

Stands alongside Full House as a cheesy insufferable late 80s sitcom I used to watch a lot of reruns of as a kid. Except I'd probably rate this even lower because I find Full House easier to watch in reruns today. Zack Morris is so, so, so insufferable.

Girls really love this show, and through them I have seen a large portion of this series. At 13 I had no interest in this other than the moderately attractive girls.

Doesn't age well and it was a bit hokey and manipulative, but face it, it was high school drama while we were going through high school.

I think it's honestly more entertaining to read about the backstage personalities of the actors than it is to watch this show.

Tween sitcom staple of summer holiday morning tv for a few years but never funny. Seeing bits of it now I realise how rotten it really was.

Objectively a bad show, but broad shows are the best way into a new area. This was my first experience with high school social dynamics, and it does a decent job of presenting high school to a young audience. Slater and Mr. Belding were my favorites. Back then, I found Screech a little annoying. I'm not sure if it's just what I know about Dustin Diamond now or not, but Screech is just completely insufferable now.

I never seen this as a kid. So I bought the Series not knowing what to expect. For a kids show back then I thought this was awesome. Very unique show as Zack the lead preppy would talk to the camera and make the scene he was in freeze time. With his Timeout and that was only in a few episodes. I wish they would have carried that power throughout the whole show and made a story line out of it. But of course they didn't. Still a good show though.

Sure it was cheesy and at times cringe worthy, but it was also inoffensive dumb fun aimed at 10-12 year olds, which was right in my wheel house. And what 12 year old boy didn't have the hots for Kelly Kapowski? Thanks to TBS and syndication, I think I've seen the entire series 5 times over. It's funny, I've always seen myself as a Zack Morris type as a teenager, but after turning 40, I realize I'm more of a Norm from Cheers.

The show that started my lifelong crush on Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
