Bryan Lee O'Malley's cute art style is there, but the animation feels very low budget, and the voice cast are surprisingly lacklustre. Also really not particularly well written.

I love that they got the cast back to do this, and I love the animation style. Unfortunately, I don't think this show really captures the magic of the movie. Don't get me wrong, there are some interesting ideas in here, but I do think it gets a bit too weird towards the end for my liking. It's okay, but it could have been better.

I couldn't find myself actually liking any of the characters until the end but I guess that's because they all feel pretty real and flawed which I kind of realised at the end decent watch

Slow start, but once it takes off it gets pretty good and the ending is good. There are times when it is brilliant with references, homages, great comedy, and some meta stuff. Sadly there is also meh and a few dull parts. Some problems with a few voices and the animation does some stuff to save money and that took some getting use to but there's also some great animated scenes that so worth watching. Overall mixed with a solid ending. NOW FIGHT!

Fun cartoon. Just like the original material, Scott is a little shit and I was happy when he was gone. Too bad he had to come back. Seems the immutable part of his character is being an asshole to Knives. My hate for the main character aside, the idea of doing a meta-show about this movie was a really good idea, and executed well.

fun to see a fresh take on the "universe" and get deeper into the other characters in the series, but the later story it lands on isn't particularly interesting. this series reckons more with Scott and Ramona being villainous in their own ways. the visual style is great and has some cool music too

A twist on the Scott Pilgrim story that gives more focus to fleshing out the side characters and the interactions between them, with Ramona at the center. This provides some great material and fun fight scenes, but some of the more meta elements can fall flat. The use of alternative universes in popular fiction is starting to become kind of stale. It's initially weird as hell to hear all the live action movie's actors speaking as animated characters, lol.

The premise is interesting, and I love a good fake-out, but the writing here was a let-down. I loved Ramona as a character in this one, but nothing else about this show excited me in the slightest.

Liked it quite a lot, really liked how it explored the side characters more, music, animation were all great too. But felt that the ending was a bit lackluster.

Bleak

It's fine. I guess this story (and anime in general) just isn't for me. The last few episodes redeemed it a bit.

A lot easier to watch if someone lets you know it’s not a retelling of the original story, but a riff on all the non-Scott characters.

Initially found the first half not that good, with the first episode basically just being the movie again. However, episode 4 onwards it picks up significantly for the most part. The last two episodes in particular were pretty good. The Animation was a bit hit and miss for me though.

Yet another bait-and-switch. Scott gets taken out in episode 1, and Ramona becomes the main character.
